Lights camera action!

BEFORE: The audio engineer is attaching a microphone to your collar. His breath smells like pork sliders. Why are the lights so bright? Your hands feel sweaty. Is your hair all right? Your mouth feels weird. Your lips start to tingle. What were you supposed to remember? Your vision starts to narrow. Where are you supposed to look again? All eyes are on you now. The room gets quiet. You are ON in 5-4-3-2-1…

AFTER: You feel at ease, you greet the camera crew knowing what everyone’s job is about. You notice something colorful on the set and make a breezy comment about it. People laugh. You feel your heart beating faster, but you have techniques to dispel this extra energy. You feel present and unaware. You know the points you have to make and where you are going. The lights don’t bother you. When you open your mouth, your voice is strong.

If you want to be your best self on camera, contact us. We can show you the skills and techniques to work with your unique physiology – so your body doesn’t freak out and take your mind with it.

But don’t listen to anyone who can’t walk the walk. Check out Taylor’s demo reel.
