Most foster/adopt marketing materials immediately dive into the daunting need to "save a child." This approach is overwhelming. When asking a person to consider a life changing decision, the messages and images need to evoke a personal connection. In the materials, we tiered the levels of involvement so people could find their comfort levels.
This campaign was also a "myth-buster" exploding the idea that only straight, married couples make great foster parents. What kids actually need is: Attention, Care, Structure, and Presence.
Hey, what about you? Find out if you would make a great foster parent!
